For use in the ANKOMFLEX Analyte Extractor. Precision ground glass vessel with port and cap; used in the digestion step of the analysis. The port allows the addition of internal standards. A FLEX55 combined with a FLEX54 form a complete Digestion Vessel Assembly.
For use in the ANKOMFLEX Analyte Extractor. Precision ground round bottom flask with a 34-15 taper ground joint; used in the evaporation step of the instrument.
The Sorbent Disposal Bags are used to remove any residual solvent left in the sorbent material after a run is complete. The contents of four SPE columns fit into one Sorbent Disposal Bag. For further instructions, follow service procedure FLS015.
For use in the ANKOMFLEX Analyte Extractor. Virgin PTFE white vessel bottom assembly; used in the digestion step of the analysis. A FLEX54 combined with a FLEX55 form a complete Digestion Vessel Assembly.
This sample is to be used with the ANKOM FLEX/FLEXI Analyte Extractors for vitamin A and E. The purpose of the check sample is both to ensure proper function of the instrument and correct procedural technique. If your results do not meet the expected range, first check your procedural steps. If the method has been followed properly, contact ANKOM Technology at www.ankom.com/contact/analytical-services or call 1-315-986-8090.
The FLEX21 Thermistor Assemblies are used to monitor temperature at eight locations. One is used to monitor the vessels' temperatures and is marked 46. One is used to monitor the reference temperature surrounding the round bottom flasks and is marked 47. Four of these are used in the round bottom flasks and are numbered 50, 51, 52 and 53. One is used in the oven and is marked 54. One is used in the evaporation inlet and is marked 55. Specify 46, 47, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54 or 55 at checkout.
The Low Pressure Sensor Assembly is used to monitor nitrogen (N2) line pressure in two locations. One marked 43 monitors N2 going to the four round bottom flasks used for solvent evaporation. One marked 45 monitors N2 Low Pressure and is displayed on screen. This is used to assist in pressurized draining of the four columns and purging lines. Specify 43 or 45 at checkout.
The Optical Bubble Sensor Assemblies function as a drain sensor and monitor fluid lines at five locations. Four sensors are used to confirm drain of the vessels. Those used for vessels 1, 2, 3 and 4 are marked 31, 32, 33,34, respectively. One marked 35 is used to monitor fluid exiting the Process Pump. Specify Vessel 1, 2, 3, 4 or Pump at check out.
Used only in the cleaning of the Vessel Tops at the end of the run for Fat analyses that use hydrochloric acid (HCL). Procedure for use is available in the FLEX Operator's Manual.
The Thermal Cut-off Assembly is used in the heater for the oven. It consists of a non-resettable thermal fuse that shuts down power to the heater if the temperature exceeds 240°C.
The Vessel Low Pressure Sensor Assembly is used to monitor pressure in the four vessels during filling and saponification. Specify vessel 1, 2, 3 or 4 at checkout.
