Automated Total Fat Extraction
The ANKOM HCl Hydrolysis System provides an easy method for performing the hydrolysis step in total fat/oil analysis. Filter Bag Technology prevents sample transfer errors and allows for batch hydrolysis of up to 15 samples at a time, reducing both labor and sample costs.
The technician inserts samples into the vessel, adds the acid solution, and follows the screen prompts. Once the program is selected, the system automatically completes the process and rinses the samples.

Waste HCl is carried to a waste tank, where it is diluted with water. The water drain hose uses gravity to carry wastewater to the lab drain.
