FAQ

Does the DELTA have an official method?

ANKOM has an official method for Crude Fiber Analysis; AOCS Ba 6a-05 and was proven equivalent to AOAC 962.09.

ANKOM’s ADF method is based on AOAC 973.18
ANKOM’s NDF method is based on AOAC 2002.04

ANKOM performed comparative studies with industry experts, such as Dr. Peter Van Soest, the developer of chemical analysis for NDF and ADF, between Filter Bag Technology and the Conventional Van Soest technique using the standard coarse fritted disk gooch crucible (H.K. Goering & P.J. Van Soest – Agricultural Handbook #379 (1975)).
