Can the ANKOM FLEX be used as a 2 in 1 instrument? For example I use the unit for crude fat in the morning then I use it for vitamins in the afternoon.

Yes, the ANKOM FLEX can be used for two different analyses within the same day. The procedure to switch the instrument over to be ready to run a new analysis depends on which analyses you are performing on the same day. 
 

For crude fat to vitamins (or vitamins to crude fat), the user must simply exchange their reservoirs and reagents and wipe down the O-rings and nozzles. 
 

For total fat to vitamins (or vitamins to total fat), the user must perform the Instrument Analysis Conversion Procedure (Service Procedure FLS037) between the analyses.
