The glass filtrate cup is used to collect filtrate produced from the SDF bags at the end of the precipitation phase for all dietary fiber methods.  This new version of the filtrate cup has a pour spout making it easier to decant for later processing.  It is made of laboratory grade borosilicate glass which is better able to handle temperature changes encountered in a laboratory dishwasher or autoclave.
