Fault: "Drain Problem" "Ck Sensor [START]" What should I do?

A "drain error" usually occurs if the level sensor senses the solution in the vessel after the drain has opened. If the vessel is empty, and the level sensor indicates "Full," the level sensor must be fixed.

If the vessel is full of solution after the drain is open, the problem could be in the drain line. Ensure that the drain line is clear and not kinked.

If the vessel is empty, use the arrow keys and select the "Select Analog" screen. Record the 4 analog values. The Lvl value should be 6-10V. Next, fill the vessel with water. Again, record the 4 analog values. The Lvl value should be 0-3V.

If the A2000 has an older "SICK" brand fiber optic module, please contact ANKOM for the procedure.

If the readings are out of range, refer to Service Procedure Level Sensor Analog Cleaning and Testing (DES007). If the problem is not resolved after following the service procedure, the Level Sensor may need to be replaced.
